Every so often a team goes all-in with free agency to land a squad of players that they believe will take them to a Super Bowl. It doesn’t always work, and even when it does, the salary cap has a way of catching up and sending those teams back to the bottom of the pile in rather short order. It certainly worked for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after coaxing Tom Brady away from New England, but his time in the league is now up and the Bucs look like a shadow of the team that won a Super Bowl a couple of years back.
