Must Bet Games From January 26th to 30th – NHL Betting

Okay MyBookie NHL hockey betting enthusiasts, with a loaded slate of action going down virtually all week long, starting with Tuesday night’s exciting matchups, it’s time to take a fun-filled look at the top NHL games to bet on this coming week. A pair of East Division Stanley Cup hopefuls both, kicks off – and ends – this week’s must-bet matchups. Now, let’s find out who’s on the ice and where the best betting value lies so you can bet against their NHL odds!

NHL Must Bet Games in the Week

Pittsburgh at Boston

  • When: Tuesday, January 26 at 7:00 PM ET

Pittsburgh (4-2-0) is in second place in the East Division standings while Boston (3-1-1) sits in fourth place. The Penguins have gone a dismal 0-6 ATS this season while Boston is an ugly 1-4 ATS. Pittsburgh has played Over the total in five of its six games while Boston is 2-3 O/U. The Penguins have won four straight while taking two in a row from Washington and the New York Rangers while Boston comes into this affair off of consecutive wins over Philadelphia. Pittsburgh is ranked 13th in scoring (3.2 gpg), but an awful 29th in goals allowed (3.8 gpg). Boston ranks 24th in scoring (2.4 gpg), but a stellar sixth in goals allowed (2.0 gpg). Pittsburgh is 0-2 on the road this season while Boston has gone a polar opposite 2-0 at home. With Boston winning 12 of its last 13 home dates against Pittsburgh, the smart money is on the Bruins!

Chicago at Nashville

  • When: Wednesday, January 27 at 7:30 PM ET

Chicago (2-3-1) is sitting in third place in the Central Division standings while Nashville (2-3-0) is in seventh place. The Blackhawks have gone 0-3-1 on the road and 3-3 ATS on the year. The Predators are 2-1 at home and 3-2 ATS on the young season. Chicago is ranked an encouraging 11th in scoring (3.2 gpg), but uninspiring 28th in goals allowed (3.8 gpg). Nashville is ranked 27th in scoring (2.4 gpg) and 24th in goals allowed (3.4 gpg). Nashville has won 11 of the last 16 meetings in this rivalry while going 6-2 in the last eight home meetings. The Over is 8-3-5 in the last 16 meetings in Nashville. I like the Predators to take care of business in this affair while the Total goes over!

Calgary at Montreal

  • When: Thursday, January 28 at 7:00 PM ET

Calgary (2-1-1) is in sixth place in the North Division while Montreal (4-0-2) is in first place. The Flames have gone 0-1 on the road this season while Montreal is 4-0-2 at home. Calgary is ranked 10th in scoring (3.3 gpg) and seventh in goals allowed (2.3 gpg). Montreal is ranked a stellar third in scoring (4.8 gpg) and 15th in goals allowed (2.8 gpg). The Flames are 2-2 ATS on the year while the Canadiens are a near-perfect 5-1 ATS. Montreal has won five straight in this rivalry including a 2-0 home win over Jan. 13. The Canadiens are off to an amazing start and will definitely take care of business at home in this Thursday night affair.

Columbus at Chicago

  • When: Friday, January 29 at 7:00 PM ET

Columbus (2-2-2) is second in the Central Division standings despite ranking 25th in scoring (2.5 gpg) and 17th in goals allowed (3.0 gpg). The Blue Jackets have gone 1-2-1 on the road and got past defending champion Tampa Bay 5-2 on Saturday though Columbus is just 2-4 ATS on the year.  As previously mentioned, Chicago (2-3-1) is sitting in third place in the Central Division standings. The Blackhawks are ranked an encouraging 11th in scoring (3.2 gpg), but uninspiring 28th in goals allowed (3.8 gpg) and sit at 3-3 ATS on the year heading into Tuesday night’s action. The Blackhawks are inept defensively, but they’ve gone 2-0 at home this season. This looks like a matchup Chicago should eke out a narrow win in!

NY Islanders at Philadelphia

  • When: Saturday, January 30 at 7:00 PM ET
  • TV: ESPN+

New York (3-2-0) is in sixth place in the loaded East Division. The Islanders are 1-2 on the road and 3-2 ATS on the year while ranking a pitiful 31st in scoring (1.8 gpg), but stupendous second in goals allowed (1.6 gpg). Philadelphia (3-2-1) is in fifth place in the East standings. The Flyers have gone 3-1 at home and 4-2 ATS on the season while ranking eighth in scoring (3.3 gpg), but just 26th in goals allowed (3.5 gpg). The Isles dispatched Philadelphia out of last season’s playoffs in seven thrilling games, but this time around, I like the Flyers to get it done based on the fact that they have the far more dangerous offense.

MyBookie’s software and lines are in line with other books, but they really stand out with the promotions. They are more frequent and offer better deals than their competitors. I’ll never go back to another book.
