The 2021 March Madness tournament will see 68 teams make up the field. After Selection Sunday on March 14, action continues through to the Final Four in Indianapolis on April 3 and 5.

The NCAA announced the relocation of the 13 preliminary sites for the 2021 NCAA Tournament in November 2020. The DI Men’s Basketball Committee is in preliminary talks with the State of Indiana and city of Indianapolis to potentially host the entire tournament. Indianapolis was already scheduled to host the men’s basketball Final Four in 2021.

As of right now, games begin with the First Four on March 16 and 17. The first round then gets underway on March 18 and 19. These dates are tentative because of changing conditions brought about by COVID-19. Here is the schedule as it stands right now, subject to change:

March Madness History
