Betting Week 13 NFL Games
NFL Thanksgiving Thursday is always a massive day and night of action.
Detroit, Dallas, and this year the Green Bay Packers host opponents on Thursday.
This week there’s also a Fr iday game between the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs.
As far as QB matchups are concerned, the only one worth looking at before Sunday is Tua Tagovailoa versus Jordan Love at Lambeau.
Check out a list of NFL Week 12’s top quarterback matchups along with analysis and picks.
Writer’s NFL Week 13 Quarterbacks Picks
Miami – Tua Tagovailoa at Green Bay – Jordan Love
Thursday, November 28th, 2024
Since returning from another concussion, Tua Tagovailoa has been stellar.
The former first round pick has plenty of weapons because Tyreek Hill, Odell Beckham Jr., and Jalen Waddle are healthy.
It also helps Tua that De’Von Achane can get it done on the ground.
Love has had some big games this NFL season but he faces a fantastic Miami defense.
Tua posts the better stats.
NFL Week 13 QB Pick: Tua Tagovailoa
LAC – Justin Herbert at Atlanta – Kirk Cousins
Sunday, December 1st, 2024
Herbert has begun to heat up.
The Chargers quarterback threw 7 touchdowns to 0 interceptions before a Monday Night Football matchup versus Lamar and the Ravens in NFL Week 12.
Herbert has thrown a single interception this season.
The man is playing out of his mind.
Kirk Cousins can light up some teams.
But the former Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders faces one of the better defenses in the NFL.
The Chargers should contain Cousins and the ATL offense.
NFL Week 13 QB Pick: Justin Herbert
Pittsburgh – Russell Wilson at Cincinnati – Joe Burrow
Sunday, December 1st, 2024
Wilson was good versus the Cleveland Browns in a snow filled game in NFL Week 12.
He completed 75% of his passes for 270 yards and threw a TD.
But on Sunday, the Steelers face a team that must rely on Joe Burrow’s arm to have any shot of beating Pittsburgh.
Burrow will throw up to 40 passes, maybe more, because the Steelers are terrific at shutting down the run.
NFL Week 13 QB Pick: Joe Burrow
Arizona – Kyler Murray at Minnesota – Sam Darnold
Sunday, December 1st, 2024
Darnold can get it done.
However, Sam faces a stingy Arizona defense that has shown it can handle solid passing attacks.
Murray is a Mr. Do Everything for the Arizona Cardinals.
He’s one of the top five quarterbacks in the NFL this season.
Kyler’s leadership skills have taken a massive leap this season.
Give Murray the nod to post better stats than Darnold.
NFL Week 13 QB Pick: Kyler Murray
Seattle – Geno Smith at NYJ – Aaron Rodgers
Sunday, December 1st, 2024
The 3-8 Jets are a disaster of a football team.
Rodgers is trying his best but for some reason nobody on the J-E-T-S is helping him at all.
For sure, the Jets have talent.
It hasn’t come together.
Maybe NYJ is doomed to be one of the worst franchises in sports history forever.
In any case, Geno Smith has thrown as many TDs as INTs this season.
But Geno can post the better stats in this game even though it happens at the Meadowlands.
NFL Week 13 QB Pick: Geno Smith
Philadelphia – Jalen Hurts at Baltimore – Lamar Jackson
Sunday, December 1st, 2024
The two best quarterbacks in the NFL this season duel in what should be one of the most high scoring games of the year.
Jalen and Lamar are doing no wrong.
Throw a dart in this QB matchup.
If you go with Jackson, it’s not a bad play.
If you go with Hurts, it’s not a bad play.
Both have A running backs in Derrick Henry for Lamar and Saquon Barkley for Hurts.
Calling this one a draw.
NFL Week 13 QB Pick: Draw
Cleveland – Jameis Winston at Denver – Bo Nix
Monday, December 2nd, 2024
Don’t be surprised if Jameis finds a way to throw for 250 yards and a pair of touchdowns against Denver’s fantastic defense.
But even if does, Bo Nix should have no trouble torching Cleveland’s D.
Nix has become the rookie quarterback this season.
Jayden Daniels should still win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year but Nix is showing what can happen when Sean Payton has a QB that understands his offensive system.
Nix outplays Winston in an intriguing Monday night contest.
NFL Week 13 QB Pick: Bo Nix

NFL Week 13 QB Matchups Betting Preview, Odds & Picks for Every Game
Previous Betting News
It’s Week 13 of the NFL season, and it’s time to look at each of the quarterback matchups, and we’ll also give you our NFL Betting prediction for each game.
Who’ll Win the Quarterback Matchups in Week 13? | NFL Lines & Betting Predictions
Buffalo Bills (-6) @ New England Patriots
Mac Jones still isn’t getting things done in New England, but he shouldn’t take all of the blame. Josh Allen has been making some bad mistakes in the red zone. We think the Bills win a close one on the road, barely covering the spread.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Atlanta Falcons (-1.5)
Kenny Pickett is starting to put things together for the Steelers, while Marcus Mariota is still plugging along for the Falcons. This should be a good matchup. We give the advantage to the Steelers in this one.
Denver Broncos @ Baltimore Ravens (-8)
The Russell Wilson acquisition has been a bust for the Broncos. Lamar Jackson hasn’t had the season that he hoped to have, and the Ravens have blown numerous leads this season. Denver can’t keep up with the Ravens. Baltimore wins by 10.
Green Bay Packers (-3) @ Chicago Bears
We’re not sure who will be under center for either team. Aaron Rodgers left last week’s game with an oblique injury, and Jordan Love came in and played well in a close loss to the Eagles. Justin Fields sat out last Sunday’s game with a separated shoulder, and we don’t know his status for this one. Either way, Green Bay will win and cover.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Detroit Lions (-1)
Trevor Lawrence has been playing much better as of late, and he led a Jacksonville comeback victory over Baltimore. Jared Goff has been leading a very good Detroit offense that almost knocked off the Bills last week. Detroit will find a way to lose this one.
Cleveland Browns (-7) @ Houston Texans
How ironic, we’ll see the return of Deshaun Watson for the Cleveland Browns in his former home stadium in Houston. Kyle Allen has replaced Davis Mills. We’d love to see Houston spoil Watson’s return, but we don’t think it will happen. Cleveland wins, but won’t cover.
New York Jets @ Minnesota Vikings (-3)
Mike White sparked the New York Jets offense in a victory over the Bears last week. Minnesota beat New England on Thanksgiving. Kirk Cousins actually played well for once in a prime time game. Mike White will come back to Earth this week, and the Vikings win by a touchdown.
Washington Commanders (-1.5) @ New York Giants
Taylor Heinicke’s magic continues to work. Washington is playing well, and their defense will give Daniel Jones and the Giants fits. The Commanders win this one by a field goal.
Tennessee Titans @ Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5)
Ryan Tannehill has been making some big throws for the Titans. Jalen Hurts may be leading the best offense in the league. Philadelphia has the better team and will win, but Tennessee will stay close and won’t let the Eagles cover the spread.
Seattle Seahawks (-8) @ Los Angeles Rams
We don’t know if Matthew Stafford will be cleared to play, or if Bryce Perkins will lead the Rams again this week. Geno Smith continues to defy his doubters and is leading the Seahawks towards a playoff berth. The Rams are in a state of disarray right now, and Seattle will win by 10.
Miami Dolphins @ San Francisco 49ers (-3.5)
Right now, you could argue that these two teams are the best teams in their conference. San Francisco is thankful that they didn’t trade Jimmy Garoppolo. Mike McDaniel has done wonders for Tua Tagovailoa. This one should be fun to watch. San Francisco wins in a close one.
Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) @ Cincinnati Bengals
A Patrick Mahomes vs. Joe Burrow matchup is just what football fans want to see. The Chiefs offense will be a little too much for the Bengals defense to handle. Kansas City by a field goal.
Los Angeles Chargers (-2) @ Las Vegas Raiders
Justin Herbert and the Chargers outlasted the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday. Derek Carr’s Raiders had a shocking come-from-behind win over Seattle. The Chargers can’t afford to lose this one, and they win by a touchdown.
Indianapolis Colts @ Dallas Cowboys (-9.5)
The Colts look better with Matt Ryan back at quarterback, but they’re still not very good. Dallas’s offense led by Dak Prescott is firing on all cylinders, and the defense is playing very well. Dallas wins this one by 14.
New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3.5)
Both of these teams are struggling right now. Father Time seems to be gaining ground on Tom Brady. Andy Dalton has had his ups and downs for the Saints. Tampa plays well enough to win by 6.
