Believe it or not, September isn’t too far away, and that means that we’ll be seeing NFL action sooner rather than later.

In looking at the NFC, we found a few rivalry games that have piqued our NFL Betting interest. Here are a few NFC rivalry games that may interest you.

Biggest 2022 NFC Rivalry Games in the NFL Calendar

Los Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers – Weeks 4 & 8

These two are two of the favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl this season. The Rams are coming off of a Super Bowl and think they have the talent to get back there again. San Francisco is also very talented and will battle the Rams all season long for supremacy in the NFC West. 

The Niners have owned the Rams as of late, going 7-3 in their last 10, including the last six in a row. However, the Rams did beat San Francisco in the postseason, so the Niners will be looking for revenge.

We’ll see if Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald, and company can win the NFC West or if Kyle Shanahan’s squad can win the division this season.

Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Week 3

How many more times will we get to see two of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the NFL square off? We’re not sure, but this could very well be the last time that Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers face off on a football field. 

The Packers and Bucs both play in weak divisions this season, so they could even meet up in the playoffs. For now, we’ll focus on the regular-season matchup.

Rodgers always finds a way to lead the Packers to the top of the NFC, while Brady’s accomplishments speak for themselves.

Both of these teams should have very good offenses, and both quarterbacks know how to win, so this should be a very fun game to watch.

Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers – Weeks 2 & 14

This is one of the oldest and best rivalries in the NFL. This rivalry goes back to the days of George Halas and Vince Lombardi.

Aaron Rodgers proclaimed that he “owned” the Bears last season, and how can you argue with him? Since Rodgers has been leading the Pack, Green Bay has dominated this rivalry.

We don’t think that things will change much this season, as the Bears are in rebuild mode, while Green Bay will be challenging for a Super Bowl title.

Even though these two teams are on different ends of the spectrum, whenever they get together, their hatred for each other comes out, and we see some very physical football.

Dallas Cowboys @ Green Bay Packers – Week 10

These two teams have met in some of the biggest NFC games in the history of the league. This will be the first time that these two have met since former Packer head coach Mike McCarthy took over the Cowboys.

These two should both be playoff teams, so this will be a high-stakes game. We’ll see if either of these two are legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

With a couple of Monday night games still to come, Week 1 of the NFL season is not quite yet in the books. We have, though, already seem some surprises, as well as a couple of teams putting in performances that show they are ready to go. It is, of course, much too early to overreact to anything, as some teams are going to need some time to figure things out. Even with some games still to come, we can still talk about potential rivalries this season, which we could actually have probably talked about even before the first play on Thursday night. Let’s take a closer look at some rivalries that we think will be huge this season so you can bet on their NFL odds.

Top NFL Rivalries to watch out for this 2020 Regular Season

Patriots and Bills

With Tom Brady now plying his trade his trade in Tampa Bay, the feeling is that the AFC East might finally be more wide open than at any other time in the Brady era. The Bills pushed the Patriots for much of the season last year, but they will certainly feel as though they can get the job done this season. The Bills opened with a 27-17 win over the Jets, wile Cam Newton led the Patriots to 21-11 win over the Dolphins. Neither of these teams look like they will be offensive juggernauts this season, so it might well be the defense that holds up the best that ends up being the difference.

Steelers and Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens ran away with the AFC North last season, but we have to remember that the 8-8 Steelers were hammered by injuries. I expect this rivalry to return to its nasty best this season, as games between these two are usually hard-hitting football at its very best. This, though, all hinges on Ben Roethlisberger staying healthy this year. If that happens, we could be looking at a 2-horse race in the North.

Saints and Buccaneers

Yes, the Saints won against the Bucs in Week 1 in rather convincing fashion, but I still have a feeling that these two are going to be around deep into the postseason. There are an awful lot of new pieces on the Buccaneers team and it is going to take a minute for them all to get in sync. Let’s also not forget that the Saints have been one of the best teams in the league for the past few seasons and are once again the favorites to win the NFC. These two will have another regular season game to come, and perhaps a playoff meeting.

Kansas City Chiefs Versus Everyone Else

When you win the Super Bowl, you head into the new season with a giant target on your back. After watching the Chiefs dismantle the Houston Texans on Thursday night, the question now is whether any other team in the NFL can take aim ad actually hit that target. The Chiefs actually look stronger this year than they did in 2019, with the addition of RB Clyde Edwards-Hilaire likely to take some pressure off the passing game if he continues to play as he did in Week 1. Make no mistake, the Chiefs are the team to beat.
