Can the Bills hold on to their East Division lead in NFL Week 7?

As we head into Week 7 of the NFL season, it is already becoming clear that some teams are just not up to the task.

While we are only about one-third of the way through the season, there are already a handful of teams who look to be done.

My NFL Betting Analysis in the Week 7

On the flip side, we are seeing some teams emerge as definite favorites, not all of whom we expected. In between those teams is where the majority reside, with the jury still out on a lot of the teams still sitting in the middle of the pack.

This weekend, we have a pair of teams going in very different directions meeting up.

The Titans look like they are sinking like a stone, while the Bills are now in control of their division. Buffalo is favored by 9 ½, with the total set at 41.

There is something to be said about momentum in professional sports, and with that in mind, the Titans may have seen their progress stall with the bye week.

They started the season at 0-3 before picking up their first win of the season against the Miami Dolphins.

That victory came right before the Titans bye week, and when they returned, it was back to the business of losing, going down to the Colts in a game that they started as a 2 ½ point favorite.

The Titans have managed to score just 96 points through their opening 5 games and are the only team in the division not to have cracked the 100-point barrier.

They are 10-5 SU in their last 15 meetings with the Bills, but they are also just 2-11 SU in their last 13 road games overall.

Tennessee is 3-9 ATS in their last 12 against conference foes, with 7 of their last 9 versus the AFC East going OVER.

Buffalo Bills Odds -526

There was a definite feeling that the Bills might be about to take a backward step this season, but they came storming out the gate, winning 3 in a row and racking up the points in a big way.

The wheels came off a little in Week 4 with a blowout loss to the Ravens, which they followed with a close defeat at the hands of the Houston Texans.

They bounced back with a critical win over the New York Jets, which means that Buffalo now has a solid stranglehold on the division, but that only continues if they keep on winning.

With their start to the season, the Bills are now 10-3 SU in their last 13 games. They have, though, not been a great bet against the spread, especially versus teams from the South, going 3-8 ATS in their last 11 against that division.

The OVER has hit in 8 of their last 11 in Week 7.

The Bills have been a little bit of a Jekyll and Hyde team this season, but this still feels like a game they should win comfortably.
