Euro 2024 Finals Prediction: Can England Stun Spain and Bring Home the Trophy?
| MyBookie Soccer Preview for the Upcoming Final
UEFA Euro 2024 | 17th season of the UEFA European aFootball Championship | Euro 2024
Final: June 14th, 2024
Think about Betting on the Next Euro Cup?
During the last Euros in 2020, English fans thought they would finally have their opportunity to celebrate their first-ever championship at Euros.
The Three Lions made a run to the final, which was played at Wembley Stadium in London.
But England blew an early lead and lost in penalty kicks to Italy.
This summer in Germany, the Three Lions have gotten back to the final.
This time, though, England will take on a formidable foe on Sunday in Munich.
Spain looked like the best team at the start of the tournament.
La Roja played well in a strong group that included Croatia and Italy.
Here’s a look at what to expect from the final.
Writer’s Euro 2024 Picks for the Final
Spain favored to capture fourth championship
La Roja has never truly faded from being among the European teams since winning back-to-back championships in 2008 and 2012.
Spain finished in third place at Euros in 2020 and has looked like the best team throughout this competition so far.
La Roja is +148 on the three-way moneyline to win this match.
England is +250 to win in regulation, while the match is +148 to end in a draw.
Spain is -155 to win the trophy, which is a bet that includes the possibility of extra time or penalty kicks.
The Three Lions are +120 to win the trophy.
The over/under is juiced heavily toward under 2.5 goals.
Over 2.5 is priced at +150, while under 2.5 is -200.
Three Lions Have Thrived on Drama
England coach Gareth Southgate will likely enjoy some time off after this competition.
The team’s fans have heavily criticized Southgate’s style of play.
During England’s six Euro matches so far, the Three Lions have only scored seven goals.
As a result of England’s difficulty scoring, every match has been a grind.
The Three Lions needed extra time to eliminate Slovakia, while England had to go to penalty kicks to eliminate Switzerland.
England was nearly headed to extra time again against Netherlands in the semifinals.
However, Ollie Watkins scored in the 90th minute to send them on.
Harry Kane has been England’s top scorer during this competition, scoring three times.
Jude Bellingham has scored a pair of goals as well.
Return of Tiki Taka
Spain isn’t quite the team it was when it dominated the world 15 years ago.
However, La Roja has proven that it has once again built itself into a powerhouse that should be envied.
Spain had a high against France in the semifinals when 16-year-old Lamine Yamal scored.
But La Roja’s offense has plenty of variety.
Dani Olmo has a team-high three goals, while Fabian Ruiz Pena has scored twice.
Spain has faced plenty of adversity during the knockout stages of the tournament.
La Roja conceded a late equalizer and needed to score late in extra time to eliminate host Germany.
Spain also had to fight off falling behind France in the first half.
However, Yamal’s goal, plus France’s own goal a few minutes later, gave La Roja enough to reach the final.
Euro 2024 Fianls Betting Pick
The English fans have had the rally cry “It’s coming home” for the past two Euros.
This time around, the Three Lions are the deserving underdogs against an excellent Spanish side.
While England played well against Netherlands in the last round, the Three Lions’ attack was underwhelmed for the entire competition.

The EURO 2020 Semi-Finals take place on Tuesday, July 6 and Wednesday, July 7. On Tuesday, Spain battles Italy. Then on Wednesday, EURO 2020 favorite England takes on Denmark. Who will win the semi-finals and march to the EURO 2020 title match? Which team in the title match will end up lifting the EURO 2020 trophy? Check out which teams offer the fairest odds to lift the EURO 2020 trophy so you can get all set to bet against their Euro Cup odds.
Euro 2020 Final Predictions Before Semi-Final Matches
UEFA EURO 2020
When: June 11 – July 11
Odds to Win the Euro 2020
England +150
In their quarter-finals match, the English dominated. England took apart the Ukraine 4-0. Jordan Henderson and Harry McGuire scored goals. Harry Kane scored twice. The 4-0 victory came on the heels of a 2-0 knockout stage win against Germany.
But although England should beat Denmark, they’ll have to face a talented team like Italy or Spain in the EURO 2020 Finals. The odds imply England is a lock, which they aren’t. Anything less than +200 makes the English an underlay.
England Offers Fair Odds: No
Spain +275
Spain struggled to beat Switzerland. The Spanish had to take down the Swiss via penalties, which is never a good sign. More disturbing if you’re a Spain fan? The Swiss were down to 10-men during the entire extra period and Spain couldn’t capitalize.
It’s difficult seeing the Spanish beating the Italians. If Spain can’t get past Italy, they won’t make it to the finals. Ask for at least +300.
Spain Offers Fair Odds: No
Italy +225
Although Leonardo Spinazzola won’t play in the semi-finals, Italy remains the team to beat. Emerson should fill in nicely for Spinazzola while no team has shown the ability to stop Barella or Insigne.
Lazio forward Ciro Immobile has yet to really get on track. Once he does, Italy will be even more formidable. Anything above +200 on the Italians constitute overlay odds.
Italy Offers Fair Odds: Yes
Denmark +900
England is on a roll, which means Denmark is up against it. Historically, though, the English have failed in these types of situations.
Denmark shouldn’t have made it to the knockout stage. Somehow, they did. Beating a quality squad like the Czech Republic 2-1 tells us how resilient the Danes are. Denmark will fight hard against England and, if they’re lucky enough to beat the English, will give it their all in the EURO 2020 Finals.
The Danes shouldn’t win EURO 2020. But they’re a +900 underdog in a 4 horse race. Stranger things have happened on the pitch. If you want to play the longest shot on the board, know the odds are fair.
Denmark Offers Fair Odds: Yes

Top Soccer Betting Picks for the Week – October 6th Edition
Thursday, Oct. 10th
Croatia vs Hungary
UEFA Euro 2020 Odds: Croatia -1.5 / Hungary +1.5
Croatia comes into this match off a 1-1 draw against Azerbaijan in their last qualifying match on September 9. Croatia missed an opportunity to go three points clear at the top of Euro 2020 qualifying Group E after a stunning goal by Azerbaijan’s Tamkin Khalilzade. Prior to that, Croatia spanked
Slovakia 4-0 in their previous qualifying match.
Hungary rebounded from their 2-1 loss to Montenegro in their previous Euro qualifying match to beat Slovakia 2-1 in their last match on September 9.
Only a point separates Croatia and Hungary in Group E with the sides sitting in first and third place respectively leading into their clash in Split. Croatia have won both their two home group games and they are 3-6-2 in the last 10 meetings against Hungary. The bad news for Hungary is that both, Barath and Nagy are suspended for this match. Croatia had not lost in 9 previous meetings prior to their stunning 2-1 loss to Hungary the last time they met in March, but they are still the pick to get the win here.
Soccer Betting Pick: Croatia 2 Hungary 1Belgium vs San Marino
UEFA Euro 2020 Odds: Over/Under 7.5
Belgium won 4-0 in San Marino last month and recorded an identical 4-0 win over Scotland on September 9. The hosts in this affair have won all sides’ 7 previous meetings. Belgium will secure a spot in the finals with a win and they’ve gone 18 straight matches without loss at home (W14 D4). With six perfect Group I wins already Belgium is the easy pick in this one to take down a winless San Marino squad (0-0-6).
Soccer Betting Pick: Belgium 4 San Marino 1
Friday, Oct. 11th
Czech Republic vs England
UEFA Euro 2020 Odds: Czech Republic +568 / England -232
The Czech Republic has played well when winning 3-of-4. Let’s be honest, though. They don’t stand much of a shot versus the English. England has gone 3-0 in their last 3 matches. The English are a World Cup contender in 2022. They should easily handle the Czech Republic.
Soccer Betting Pick: England -1 -140
Iceland vs France
UEFA Euro 2020 Odds: Iceland +609 / France -256
The defending World Cup Champions might take Iceland lightly on Friday. Iceland has shown up at the UEFA Euro Championships before. They must play well to qualify. Although France should win, it might be a good idea to go for a draw in this match.
Soccer Betting Pick: Draw +319
Portugal vs Luxemborg
UEFA Euro 2020 Odds: Portugal -3 / Luxemborg +3
Luxemborg has dropped consecutive Euro Qualifying matches including a humbling 3-1 defeat against Serbia on October 9. Portugal is looking to build on back-to-back Euro qualifying win and comes into this affair off an overpowering 5-1 win against Lithuania that saw Cristiano Ronaldo score a mind-boggling four goals. Portugal’s record versus Luxembourg shows the home team in this one with a dominating 13-1-1 mark in the last 15 meetings. Ronaldo and company are the easy pick in this one.
Soccer Betting Pick: Portugal 5 Luxemborg 1
Saturday, Oct. 12th
Denmark vs Switzerland
UEFA Euro 2020 Odds: Denmark +121 / Switzerland +208
These two are incredibly even in terms of both talent as well as recent form. Denmark has 2 two wins and 3 draws in their last 5. Switzerland has a win, 2 draws, a loss, and a loss on penalty kicks in their last 5. Switzerland gets the nod because they’ve played the much tougher competition.
Soccer Betting Pick: Switzerland +208
Norway vs Spain
UEFA Euro 2020 Odds: Norway +498 / Spain -217
Norway doesn’t have much of a shot. So, the real question is whether to back Spain on the handicap or to go with the draw. Spain rides a 5 match winning streak into this. They beat Norway 2-1 back in March. The Spanish could suffer a slight let down. That could lead to a draw.
Soccer Betting Pick: Draw +305
Sunday, Oct. 13th
Wales vs Croatia
UEFA Euro 2020 Odds: Wales +198 / Croatia +134
Wales versus Croatia might be the top overall soccer matchup this week. Wales beat Belarus 1-0 in an International Friendly back on Sep. 9. Before that, they beat Azerbaijan 2-1 on Sep. 6. During a European Qualifying match on June 8, Wales couldn’t get much going in a 1-2 loss.
Croatia might be set for a slight upset loss on Sunday, though. The Croatians dominated the Slovakians 4-0 on Sep. 6. However, they drew with Azerbaijan in a match after that and lost 1-2 to Tunisia in a match before the Slovakian domination. Wales can get it done at decent odds.
Soccer Betting Pick: Wales
Soccer Odds For The Euro 2016 FinalTITULOH44444
Previous Betting News
After close to a month of football action in France, Euro 2016 is down to one game to decide who will be crowned the champion of Europe. It’s no real surprise that hosts France are there, as they came into this thing as the betting odds favorite. What is a surprise, though, is that they will be going against a Portugal side who have not exactly set things on fire during this tournament? In fact, it wasn’t until the semi-final game against Wales that Portugal were even able to win a game in regulation time. With the final now looming, it’s time to start thinking about how you are going to wager on this game. There are essentially three different wagers that you can go with regarding the outcome, and I am going to take a quick look at each, whilst also making a prediction.
Soccer Odds For The Euro 2016 Final
Who Will Win Euro 2016?
s it stands at the moment, it is France who are the clear favorites at -110, while you can get Portugal at a very tasty +380. Yes, Portugal have arguably the best player in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo, but is he enough to beat a France team that looks great from top to bottom? I don’t believe that he does, and the French have just looked like a team of destiny all along. It’s tough to imagine France losing this one on their own soil, so I have to go with them for the win.
Betting the Spread in the Euro 2016 Final
France are favored by a half point at odds of -110, and this to me seems like a very good bet. What this means is that they on need to win by a single goal in order to cover the wager, and when you look at what they did to Germany in the semi’s, you see a team that is more than capable of scoring goals and getting the win. I will be posting my final score prediction in the next section, but it’s safe to say that this is a wager that I would place in favor of France, keeping in mind that they have to win inside the regulation 90 minutes in order for you to cash a winning ticket.
Betting the OVER/UNDER in the Euro 2016 Final
The goal total is set for 2, which might be a little tricky here. My feeling is that France will come away with the 2-0 win, which would mean that I am looking at a push here. If I was forced to go one way or the other, I would probably go with the OVER. There are a lot of guys on the field who can put the ball in the back of the net, and an early goal might just open things up. You have Griezmann and Giroud on one side, and Ronaldo and Nani on the other, so there is a lot of firepower on display. I believe that the OVER is the safer of the two options.
