Penn State, which hosts the 4 Ohio State on Saturday, rank third.

Miami is fifth after the Buckeyes followed by Texas in sixth, Tennessee in seventh, Notre Dame in eighth, and Big 12 power BYU in ninth.

Texas A&M rose to tenth after rallying to beat 8 LSU in NCAAF Week 9.

Writer’s Picks for the Upcoming College Games to Bet On

4 Ohio State a -3.5 Favorite Heading to Happy Valley to Battle 3 Penn State

This week’s most important game is a Big Ten rivalry matchup when the Penn State Nittany Lions host the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Penn State may have to battle their top rival in the conference without starting quarterback Drew Allar who suffered a knee injury in the Lions’ 28-13 road win over Wisconsin.

If Allar can’t go, Penn State should struggle to beat the Buckeyes.

If Ohio State falls to a Drew Allar less Penn State, it could cause major upheaval in the conference.

Although the College Football Playoff has expanded to 12 teams, 12 isn’t as many as one might think considering there are a lot of quality teams fighting for the 8 additional spots including the Power 4 Conference winners that will receive first round byes.

A second Ohio State loss could send the Buckeyes outside of Top 12 consideration, which is the reason this game is so important.

Ohio State might win but the hook, the .5 in the 3.5 points, makes Penn State the play.

Roll with the Lions to cover.

NCAAF Week 10 ATS Pick: Oregon -14.5

1 Oregon is a -14.5 Favorite Versus Michigan in Ann Arbor

Dan Lanning’s Oregon Ducks continued rolling this past Saturday by thumping 20 Illinois 38-9.

The Ducks’ defense has gelled which makes Oregon the best team in the nation.

Dillon Gabriel is having a Heisman Trophy season.

For sure, Ashton Jeanty, Boise State’s amazing running back, deserves the award if he breaks Barry Sanders’s records.

But if Jeanty falls short, Gabriel should lift the trophy.

Gabriel has thrown for 2,371 yards, 18 TDs, and 5 INTs.

He’s also rushed for 5 touchdowns.

More importantly, he’s managing the Oregon offense and has shown awesome leadership skills, which shouldn’t surprise anyone considering what he did at first UCF and then Oklahoma.

On Saturday, Oregon should have no trouble covering versus a Michigan team that is on the verge of imploding.

The Wolverines have scored 30 points just once this season and it came against Fresno State in Michigan’s first game.

Michigan beat Michigan State in their last but an ugly brawl at the end of the game put a damper on the festivities.

Also, after playing Oregon, Michigan faces 13 Indiana and 4 Ohio State in 2 of their last 4.

There’s a real chance the defending National Championship don’t even qualify for a bowl this NCAAF season.

Oregon covers in an 18 to 24 points victory.

NCAAF Week 10 ATS Pick: Oregon -14.5

2 Georgia Hosts Florida a -16.5 Home Chalk

Georgia got a bye after the 30-15 win over Texas a couple of weeks ago.

So on Saturday we should expect Kirby Smart’s squad to absolutely dominate the Florida Gators.

Gator Nation hasn’t been the same since Urban Meyer bolted to Ohio State.

Florida is back to being one of the worst programs in the SEC and the state.

Teams like Vanderbilt have leapfrogged the Gators.

Struggling Florida looked good in a 48-20 win over Kentucky but the Wildcats are a mess.

Florida won’t hang with Georgia in this while Smart will want his offense to blister the Gators’ defense.

Georgia covers the spread in dominating performance.

NCAAF Week 10 ATS Pick: Georgia -16.5

13 Indiana Hopes to Stay Undefeated as the Fave at Michigan State

Four games remain for the Cinderella Indiana Hoosiers to put on the glass slipper and take on Oregon, Penn State, or Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship.

The Hoosiers haven’t slowed down this season.

Indiana routed Washington 31-17 even though Heisman Trophy candidate Kurtis O’Rourke was out with an injury.

O’Rourke may play at Michigan State on Saturday.

Whether he does or not, the Hoosiers will win and cover.

The more interesting aspect is that after beating Michigan State, Indiana controls it’s destiny with home games versus Michigan and Purdue and a game against Ohio State.

If the Hoosiers can run the table, they’d be in line for the Big Ten title game, which means Indiana could end up in the first ever 12-Team College Football Playoff.

NCAAF Week 10 SU Pick: Indiana

11 Clemson a -10.5 Favorite at Home Versus Rival Louisville

Time for me to eat more crow.

At the beginning of the season I was all over Dabo Swinney for not using the transfer portal.

Well, it turns out I was wrong.

Oh, I was so wrong.

Swinney’s strategy has paid off big time.

The way Dabo has turned around the Clemson Tigers after the 34-3 loss to Georgia with players he has recruited and not a single transfer is incredible.

Swinney is showing he’s one of the top, if the not the best, head coach in college football.

The man is a miracle worker.

Clemson’s Cad Klubnik is destroying defenses.

Klubnik has thrown 20 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions. He’s thrown for 1,836 yards.

If we contrast what Swinney has done with recruits and compare that to Mike Norvell’s awful transfer laden Florida State squad, it sure looks like Swinney’s strategy is the winning one.

Clemson beats up Louisville on Saturday in a cover victory while Klubnik pads his Heisman worthy stats.

NCAAF Week 10 ATS Pick: Clemson -10.5

18 Pittsburgh Hopes to Keep Undefeated Record Intact on the Road Versus 20 SMU

Undefeated Pitt should crash to earth on Saturday.

Although the Panthers have played great football to score an undefeated record, Pitt hasn’t taken on a single ranked team this season.

SMU will be the first team that ranks in the Top 25.

It could get ugly for the Panthers because SMU has rolled this season.

The Mustangs loss came versus 9 BYU in a competitive 18-15 matchup.

Southern Methodist is legit.

The Stangs dominated FSU, beat Louisville on the road by 7, and got by Duke and BYU Stanford in road games.

The close win versus Duke in Durham was SMU’s third straight road contest.

Returning to home on Saturday should help SMU breakout with a double digit win.

SMU covers the -7.5 spread.

NCAAF Week 10 ATS Pick: SMU -7.5

10 Texas A&M the Road Chalk Versus South Carolina

If the SEC Championship were to happen this weekend, Texas A&M would take on Georgia.

The Aggies have gone undefeated since losing to Notre Dame in their first game of the season.

A&M has a test on Saturday versus a decent Gamecocks squad in South Carolina.

But Mike Elko’s team boasts one of the top defenses in the nation.

The Aggies picked off LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier 3 times in the 38-23 victory.

Back A&M to win and cover.

The Gamecocks come off a 35-9 win over Oklahoma and is likely to bounce after the effort.

NCAAF Week 10 SU Pick: Texas A&M

Other AP Top 25 ATS Plays

  • 21 Army -22.5 versus Air Force
  • Texas Tech +14.5 at 11 Iowa State
  • 7 Tennessee -16.5 versus Kentucky

Best Week 10 Games to Bet On From AP Poll 25 Ranked Teams

Previous Betting News

This upcoming Saturday is going to be a great chance to make some additional money on College Football, as there are a lot of interesting games throughout the day that you can place a wager on. Today, we are going to be highlighting a handful of them and discussing which side to take and exactly why we should be on that side. Let’s get right to it so you can get ready to make your bets against the NCAA Football Odds.

Top 25 College Football Analysis and Betting Opportunities for Week 10 of the 2022 Season

Air Force Falcons vs Army Black Knights (+6.5)

Two storied programs are facing off on a neutral site as the 5-3 Air Force Falcons and the 3-4 Army Black Knights will be matched up here. This is the first game on the slate at 11:30 am EDT, and it might be over before any other games start with two programs that love to run the football, as both teams are averaging more than 330 rushing yards per game. The major difference is the ability to score, as the Falcons are averaging 24 points in their last four games, while the Black Knights are putting up 45 points per game in their previous two games. Army has covered the spread in four of the last five games against the Air Force so go with them to do it again.

Tulane Green Wave (-7.5) vs Tulsa Golden Hurricane

This is expected to be a fun game between American Conference foes as the 19th-ranked Tulane Green Wave faces off with the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Tulsa is the better team and should show it here, as they are averaging 33.5 points in their last four games, while the Golden Hurricanes have been scoring 25.8 points in that same stretch of games. Junior running back Tyjae Spears should have a field day running the football, as Tulsa is giving up 210 rushing yards per game. The favorite is 15-2 against the spread in their last 17 meetings, so give me Tulane to win by multiple possessions.

Tennessee Volunteers (+8.5) vs Georgia Bulldogs

This is one of the most exciting games in the entire season as the top-ranked Tennessee Volunteers, and the third-ranked Georgia Bulldogs square off in an SEC battle between undefeated programs. The Volunteers played well defensively, as they allowed six points last week while the Bulldogs gave up 20 points as well. These offenses have been doing extremely well in their previous three games, as the Volunteers are scoring 53.7 points per game while the Georgia Bulldogs are averaging 46.3 points per game in that same stretch. The road team has covered in four of their previous five games in this game so go with the Tennessee Volunteers getting 8.5 points in this game.

There is a lot of exciting games throughout the entire slate and a lot of opportunities to make your money by betting on the spread. This is arguably the best slate of games that we have seen throughout the season thus far, and it should be an exciting Saturday of College Football on the docket.
