Washington Huskies Unbeaten
Steve Sarkisian has got the Longhorns back in the national discussion for College Football programs The Longhorns had fallen back a bit, but their final season in the Big 12 was a big one. Texas got into the playoff with dominating 50 and 28 point wins to finish their season.
Texas on the season scored 36 points per game. On the defensive side, the Longhorns allowed teams to score 17.5 points per game. Back to the offense, both the rushing and passing attack ranked in the Top 25 of the country. The Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers settled in with more than 3,100 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Jonathon Brooks was the offensive threat with more than 1,110 rushing yards for the Longhorns. But, he is out of this game with a knee injury. The Longhorns will turn to CJ Baxter, who got 13 carries in the Big 12 title game.
Texas will be playing in their 59th bowl game in school history. A season ago, these two teams played in the Alamo Bowl with Washington winning 27-20. The Longhorns beat Colorado in 2020.
Huskies Look Ready to Go
Michael Penix Jr is the name you will hear all game for the Huskies. The quarterback, who transferred from Indiana, was in the running for the Heisman all season. The signal caller has over 4,200 passing yards with 33 touchdowns on the season. Rome Odunze was the top target with 81 receptions, 1,428 yards and 13 touchdowns.
The run game for Washington is anchored by Dillon Johnson. He was a workhorse for the Huskies with over 200 carries, 1,113 yards and 14 touchdowns.
For Washington, they start this game with a 20-20-1 bowl game record in school history. The Huskies are seeking their third straight bowl game win. Last season, they won at the Alamo Bowl, and in 2019 they won at the Las Vegas Bowl. Before that, they lost three straight in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Thriller to Decide Final Team
We are going to be in for a treat in this game. The physical style of the Texas Longhorns, against the finesse and skill of the Washington Huskies. Two teams that can score. But, two teams that can get the defensive shoes on when they really need to. Two hungry College football programs. Two well coached teams.
Man, this is going to be a great football game. In the end, the best player on the field is Michael Penix Jr. The Washington Huskies grab the win in this game. Not only take the Huskies at +4, but consider the +130 on the moneyline for this affair on New Years Day!

2023 Allstate Sugar Bowl Alabama Is The Favorite, Can They Win The Bowl
The Alabama Crimson Tide failed in their quest for a repeat trip to the College Football Playoff. The Tide did manage to secure a bid to the Sugar Bowl where they will take on Big 12 titlist Kansas State. Alabama’s best player on each side of the pigskin will suit up for this one. Does that mean Bama is a lock to win and cover? Or will K-State surprise the Tide? See below for College Football Bowl Odds, analysis, and a free pick for the 2022 Sugar Bowl.

Why Bet on Alabama versus Kansas State?
Quarterback Bryce Young said he’s going to put on the cleats and step onto the Superdome field. Young explained that the Sugar Bowl is another chance to play football and build his resume.
On the other side of the ball, Will Anderson will play. The presence of Anderson and Young means Bama’s two most-important players, and the NFL Draft’s top two prospects, will step onto the field.

Why Bet on Kansas State versus Alabama?
In the regular season’s stretch drive, few teams impressed as much as Kansas State. The Wildcats went 4-0 SU and ATS in their final four games.
Of particular note were 31-3 wins versus Baylor and a 31-28 victory over TCU in the Big 12 title game. K-State beat opponents on both sides of the football. Also, the Wildcats should have a chance to use dual-threat QB Adrian Martinez in at least a few offensive packages on Saturday.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Kansas State Wildcats Final Betting Prediction
Young and Anderson will play but offensive guard Javion Cohen hit the transfer portal. Cohen started for Bama and is one of the top guards in the nation.
So once K-State lays the wood on Bryce, he will pull himself out of the game. Young has a huge future ahead of him. It doesn’t make sense for Young to put that future on the line for a non-CFP bowl victory.
The same thing goes for Anderson. Expect both Young and Anderson to step off the field before the end of the first half. Neither will return.
Even if Anderson plays the full game, Bama’s defense is in trouble. As if the QB duo of Will Howard and Adrian Martinez wasn’t enough, running back Deuce Vaughn is one of the best in the nation. Also, Bama allows 125 rushing yards per game. K-State wins this straight up.
