We are all eagerly awaiting the next round of the college football playoffs, especially since Round 1 was rather underwhelming in that all the games basically ended in a blowout. In fairness, you look at the opening round in other major sports, and you see that Round 1 in the playoffs very often follows a similar pattern, with the best teams easily handling the lower seeds.
